At Lendas da Curota, we believe that the sea is much more than just a landscape: it is a realm of legends, adventure, and connection with nature. We are Galicians passionate about culture, tradition, and the immense value of our surroundings. We love the sea because it’s in our DNA: for the beauty, freedom, well-being, and fun it offers us.
Our mission is to share this passion through unique experiences with those who want to enjoy the sea without any hassle. We provide unforgettable leisure experiences through adventures filled with stories, challenges, and excitement, as well as boat rentals and boating license courses. All of this so that everyone can experience the sea firsthand, with freedom, safety, and authenticity.

Behind Lendas da Curota there is a team that combines navigation, cultural interpretation, and design experiences. Patterns, guides, and local partners working to a common goal: for you to take a unforgettable history in the estuary.
Lovers of Galicia
Lendas da Curota was founded with a clear mission: to showcase Galicia, the Barbanza region, and its natural and cultural resources through innovative nautical adventures. We want every voyage to be more than just a trip—we want it to be an experience that connects with the seafaring tradition and the Galician spirit.
We are in A Pobra do Caramiñal, in the shelter of the monte da Curota, a place full of symbolism and legends. From here we design proposals that combine leisure, culture and nature, as our Adventures of Legend, routes gamificadas inspired by the imagination of the galician language.
In addition to the rental of boats, with and without pattern, we have a sailing School where we train new sailors, providing easy access to the sea safely, free and authentic.
Our vision is clear: to show the estuary as we feel we, as a territory alive, full of culture, magic, and excitement.

Premio Ultreia
El viernes 28 de noviembre de 2025, nuestra tripulación atracó en un puerto diferente: el corazón de la Ribeira Sacra. Allí, en el marco del congreso #UltreiaGalicia, Leyendas de la Curota fue reconocida como Proyecto Destacado de la Red de Polos de Emprendimiento por su trabajo de puesta en valor de Galicia.
Queremos expresar nuestro profundo agradecimiento a la Xunta de Galicia y en concreto a la Dirección General de Trabajo Autónomo y Economía Social y la Marta Marino por crear espacios donde el emprendimiento local puede proyectarse al mundo.
Este premio, entregado en el contexto de Galicia Región Emprendedora Europea 2025 es la validación institucional de nuestro modelo de negocio, poniendo en valor el patrimonio de Barbanza y transformándolo en un motor de turismo náutico sostenible y de calidad.
